School principal Joshua White's life is turned upside down by the arrival of his troubled and formerly abused nephew.
But he gets unexpected help from an old friend, Amy Loar, who seems to have had some experience with abuse since leaving town after high school, and also has a child of her own to deal with. A Family for Daniel (3) by Anna DeStefano is
a pleasurable read. The characters overcome their troubles, leading to an emotionally satisfying ending for the reader.
