After his accident while reporting in a war zone, Marc Wilde returns to Whistler as a partial quadriplegic. Fiona Gordon has experience with spinal injuries after years of caring for her paralyzed brother, but she must see past the wheelchair and resolve her own Family Matters (3) before she can accept Marc and they can have a complete relationship. The treatment of disabilities is sensitively handled in Joan Kilby's story, but it's hard to see compatibility in the hero's bitterness and the heroine's incessant good humor.
