After his wife's death, Kendal Oakes' young daughter, Larissa, develops
behavior and attachment problems. Church daycare is the last resort. Connie Wheeler, still working on her relationship with her own young son after her time in jail, is the only one who can calm Larissa. Kendal proposes a marriage of convenience so that they can provide a stable home for both children. Arlene James explores this cliched storyline from a different angle. A Family to Share (3) is heartwarming and will cause readers to think about the true meaning of family.
