A FAMILY FOR THANKSGIVING (4) by Patricia Davids: After Clay Logan discovers how much damage the town sustained when it was hit by a tornado months ago, he returns to High Plains, Kan., to face the family, friends and girl he left behind. Nicki Appleton isn't sure she's pleased that Clay, whom she loved as a teenager, is back, especially with the stress she's under wondering if she'll lose the foster child she's come to love. Clay and Nicki have challenges ahead, but both know that God will see them through. This story is about second chances, forgiveness and trusting God to always do what's best, even in the darkest times. It leaves a cliff-hanger for the finale of the After the Storm series.
