THE FARMER NEXT DOOR (4) by Patricia Davids: Adrian Lapp had hoped to be able to buy the farm next door, so he is not pleased to find that widow Faith Martin has already moved in. It doesn’t help that their first meeting is about her alpacas getting into his fields. Adrian is still mourning the loss of his wife and son, and is therefore surprised by his attraction to Faith. While Faith finds much to admire in Adrian, she has no desire to remarry. This current visit to the Amish community outside Hope Springs is a wonderful story filled with interesting animals, familiar faces and two people learning to accept God’s plans for their lives.
