Book Review

by Ace Collins

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

The mystery begins on the first page and doesn't let up until the end. The plot is highly original and will appeal to readers who are tired of the same old thriller. Collins sets up another story at the conclusion that will have you itching to find out what happens next.

A police officer in a small town comes across a horrific scene. Attorney Lije Evans and his wife, Kaitlyn, have been gunned down. Lije survives and in his grief sets off to discover why he and Kaitlyn were targeted. The more he investigates, the more complicated and far-reaching the conspiracy seems to reach. Can he find the killer before he becomes a victim again? (ZONDERVAN, Oct., 352 pp., $15.99)
