FATAL BURN
by Lisa Jackson

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Although they've never met, Shannon Flannery and Travis Settler have something in common: Travis' adopted teenage daughter, Dani. When Dani is kidnapped, Travis vows to follow up
any clue that will lead to her safe
return. The trail leads him to Shannon, Dani's biological mother, who put her up for adoption at birth.

The last few years have been a nightmare for Shannon. She has lost a father, a brother and been falsely accused of her husband's murder. Things get even worse when Shannon is attacked on her ranch and a fire is started. Luckily for her, though, Travis is watching her place and sounds the alarm. It's obvious that Dani's kidnapper has a major grudge against Shannon and the Flannery
family, and ugly secrets are starting
to spill out. Can Shannon and Travis decipher the clues the kidnapper is
leaving them?

Family secrets can be quite
deadly. Using characters first
introduced in Deep Freeze, Jackson
chills your blood with this tale of
horror, lies and love. Layers of intrigue
and deception make this one of Jackson's best. Make room on your keeper shelf for this one. (Mar., 498
pp., $7.99)
