FATAL JUDGMENT
by Irene Hannon

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Hannon’s ability to write scenes that cause readers to feel uneasy and to second-guess their safety always makes her stories page-turners. Getting into the head of an overzealous patriot who has cracked under the strain of personal tragedy is riveting. Die-hard suspense fans may find the coincidences leading up to the ending too convenient.

The last person U.S. Marshal Jake Taylor wants to protect is federal judge Liz Michaels. If it wasn’t for her, Jake’s best friend may have never committed suicide. Nevertheless, when Liz’s sister is killed, he must put his personal feelings aside and do his job. After spending time with Liz, he realizes he misjudged her and begins to have feelings for her. When it becomes apparent Liz was the killer’s real target, and he is coming back to finish her off, Jake will do everything he can to protect her —before it is too late.
