Firefighters are heroes and hotties in this anthology of stories that run from funny to dramatic. The best of the stories will make readers want a long, slow hosedown.

Mary has had a crush on Nate since they were kids, but she’s all woman now. When their friend and Nate’s fellow firefighter dies in a suspicious house fire, their longstanding relationship heats up as they “Fight Fire With Fire” by O’Clare. In “Heat Wave” by Mellor, Thorne rescues Summer when her house burns down. He offers her a place to stay, but his duty, three old ladies and one dog conspire to keep these two apart. Still it isn’t long before Summer is burning up with pleasure in Thorne’s arms and his bed. Hannah has made a name for herself in the mayor’s office, then bad boy Lee returns as the town’s new fire chief. She’s got to keep his budget in line.
