Lewis begins the Home to Hickory Hollow series with this sweet, engaging romance. As always, the author brings the peace and simplicity of the Amish world to vivid life.

According to his family and his bishop, Michael Hostetler has one foot in the Englisch world and one in his Amish community. Professional violinist Amelia Devries is living a second life as country fiddler Amy Lee. She loves music but not the rigors of touring. When Michael and Amelia cross paths, they realize they are both harboring secret desires for their lives, and both feel that their paths are being directed by others. Is it possible for them to follow their own hopes and dreams? (BETHANY HOUSE, May, 352 pp., $15.99)
