In the latest title in her Dragon One series, Fetzer takes on the contemporary themes of terrorism and global warfare. In doing so, she introduces a heroine who's more likely to rescue the hero than need rescuing herself. While the frequent shifts in setting can be disruptive, it aids in building the tension and a sense of urgency in the story.
