FINAL CATCALL
by Sofie Kelly

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth, Paranormal

RT Rating

In the fifth installment of the Magical Cats series, Kelly hits a home run. The book’s plot is spectacular. There is a new twist, along with a new suspect, around every corner. With the addition of romantic tangles, this makes for an excellent addition to the already outstanding series.

Librarian Kathleen Paulson is thrown for a loop when her sort-of boyfriend, Det. Marcus Gordon, calls a halt to their romance. Then her ex-boyfriend Andrew returns, saying that he wants her back. In the middle of her romantic issues, there is a theater festival that has been relocated to Mayville Heights. During preparations for the festival, the high-strung director is murdered. With Marcus on the case, it is impossible for Kathleen to catch a break. Will Kathleen find the killer in time, or will it be lights out for good? (OBSIDIAN, Oct., 336 pp., $7.99)
