Book Review

by Martha Rogers

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

Rogers creates strong characters that keep your attention as the story unfolds. The developing romance takes a backseat to a plot that focuses on Becky realizing what is important in her life. Although this is the third book in the Winds Across the Prairie series, it can be read as a stand-alone without the reader feeling confused.

When Becky Haynes moves back to her hometown after college, the changes in her personality, religion and outlook on life surprise her friends and family. When newcomer Geoff Kensington moves to town, Becky is quickly attracted to him. But when accidents start to happen to the residents of Barton Creek, her longtime friend Rob is quick to suspect Geoff. Can Becky open her eyes and return to her faith in time to help their friends and neighbors? (STRANG/REALMS, Oct., 304 pp., $12.99)
