For the past several weeks, Dr. Mark Thomas and decorator Rachel Madison have been slowly turning his new house into a home. They've been dating too, making Mark doubly glad he's relocated. Then Mark is contacted by a man who may be his long-lost brother. Waiting for DNA results, Mark gets to know Rachel -- and her slightly dysfunctional extended family -- a little better. Mark's really attracted to Rachel but wonders if she can give him what he needs. Gina Wilkins' Finding Family (3) has a solid plot and characters that are easy to relate to, but it lacks the emotional resonance one would expect, given the situation Mark's in.
