Book Review

FINDING MARIE
by Susan Page Davis

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Davis is a master of edge-of-your-seat action. Twists add up to a fast-paced story that will keep readers riveted, and fascinating characters and a spiritual journey that is an integral part of the narrative are sure to delight. The romantic storyline seems a bit too convenient, but otherwise this is a stellar novel.

On the plane ride home
to Maine from Japan, where her
naval lieutenant husband is stationed, Marie Belanger sits next to another
officer's wife. The woman has always been standoffish, but this time she seems nervous.

While on a layover in San Francisco, Marie sees the woman killed, and soon after finds a computer flash drive in her luggage. Marie quickly realizes that she's being pursued by the murderers because she has what they want. On
the run and frightened at every turn, she must rely on God to help her husband find her. (HARVEST HOUSE, Sep., 350 pp., $13.99)
