THE FIRST WIFE (4) by Tara Taylor Quinn: When Jane Hamilton, head of a magazine for empowered women, is asked to testify at her bigamist ex-husband’s murder trial, she isn’t sure how she can help. But with the help of a psychologist and her best friend, attorney Brad Manchester, Jane realizes her ex-husband was abusive, although she didn’t know it at the time. Eventually, Jane comes to the conclusion that her ex may just be capable of murder — especially when he doesn’t get what he wants. This is a well-written and interesting story. The unique plot involving bigamy will keep readers hooked. The addition of a psychologist who analyzes Jane’s testimony about her ex-husband makes for an interesting plotline.
