FIXING TO DIE
Viets scores again with another great Mystery Shopper story. With the usual suspects and a couple of new ones thrown in, the crime does not go unpunished. This reviewer is looking forward to more from this talented author.
Newlywed Josie Marcus is looking for the perfect home for her new family when her husband’s veterinary partner, Christine, mentions that she owns a fixer-upper that she would like to sell. Christine used to rent the house to her free-spirit sister, Rain, until Rain abruptly left. Josie and Ted purchase the house and while doing construction, they discover Rain’s decomposed body. Never one to let the police handle the investigation, Josie looks into the murder. With a lot of interesting suspects, Josie learns that not everyone is what they appear to be.
