RT Rating

In the sequel to The Ranger, this brother's story has the same uncomplicated plot and high action we've come to expect, even down to the way the spirited heroine expresses herself.

Savanna Cantrell is on the run for her life after being accused of murder. Fletcher Hawk has the same high degree of skills as his older brother, though they seem to do no good against Savanna's steely determination to win back her freedom and her good name.

While Logan is back at home with his new wife, Fletch and Savanna battle their passion for one another after forming an alliance against their common enemy. When tragedy strikes and all seems lost, Savanna and Fletcher learn that love can grow under fire in this easy-to-read tale. (Harlequin, Jan., 304 pp., $5.50)
