FLIRTING WITH DISASTER
by Jane Graves

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Police officer Dave DeMarco is stunned when he sees
a television broadcast announcing that pilot Lisa Merrick has died in a plane crash in Mexico. Back in high school, Lisa and Dave had a special relationship that no one else understood. Lisa was the stereotypical bad girl, but Dave saw much more in her. Their friendship gave Lisa the guts to pursue her own dream, but it died after one night of passion—right before Dave was to marry his high school sweetheart.

Now widowed with a kindergartner, Dave is struggling to overcome his
feelings of guilt and be a good father. While mourning Lisa's untimely death, Dave is flabbergasted to get a phone call from his supposedly deceased friend asking for help. Lisa survived the plane crash, but now she fears for her life. She has been flying for a humanitarian organization, but after accidentally discovering an illicit smuggling scheme, she is targeted for elimination. Dave heads to Mexico to find Lisa—but what he finds are passion and potentially deadly danger.

This time it's Dave's turn to find romance and adventure, in the third installment of Graves' series featuring the DeMarco cop brothers. The author delivers again in this bang-up series. (Nov., 343 pp., $6.99)
