Book Review

FORBIDDEN HEAT
by Opal Carew

Genre: Erotic Romance, Erotic Fiction

RT Rating

This book is overstocked with scorching-hot sex scenes of every sort -- including M/F/M, M/M and little light BDSM -- but there are a few inconsistencies within the narrative, and the story is a little too light considering how much baggage Carew has given her heroine.

Back in college, Danielle had fallen for two of her closest friends. But since Jake and Trey were themselves a couple, she accepted that her crush would remain unrequited.

When they're all reunited for a mutual friend's wedding, Danielle happily discovers that not only are Jake and Trey now single, but they're both bisexual as well -- giving her the chance to finally make her dream of sleeping with both of them come true. (ST. MARTIN'S GRIFFIN Jan., 288 pp., $13.99)
