FORGET ME NOT
Hinze pens an engrossing mystery full of twists. Unfortunately, the plot gets muddled with the large number of characters and their loyalties. Overall, though, the sweet romance and satisfying conclusion has appeal.
A woman is attacked in New Orleans and wakes up in Florida, suffering from amnesia. Her only clue is a card from Crossroads Crisis Center with the name "Susan" written on the back. Three years ago, Benjamin Brandt's wife, Susan, and his son were murdered. Now this mystery woman, looking amazingly like Susan, shows up. It quickly becomes apparent that someone is out to kill her. Who is she, and what are her ties to Susan? (MULTNOMAH, Mar., 352 pp., $13.99)
