Dead broke, Ria Channing is forced to return home with her 4-year-old son, even though she's never gotten over the fact that she was responsible for the death of her younger brother in a car accident. At home, she meets local carpenter and artist Sandor Wolfe and battles both her attraction to him and her feelings of guilt over the past. An enjoyable read, Jean Brashear's Forgiveness (3) also provides a lesson in how to move on with your life.
