Book Review

FORSAKING ALL OTHERS
by Allison Pittman

Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

In the second book in the Sister Wife series, the characters are unforgettable. They not only struggle with their faith and everything they were taught about God, but they struggle with what they want to do and what they need to do. Pittman pulls the reader into her stories and gives them a glimpse of the values the Mormons believe in.

Camilla Fox was rescued from certain death in a snowstorm by Colonel Charles Brandon. As she gets her strength back, all she thinks about is reuniting with the two daughters she left behind with the Mormon community she no longer belongs to, and reconciling with her parents. Charles is having trouble of his own with the Mormons, and he also wants to help Camilla in any way he can. Camilla will have a uphill battle to get her family out of the Mormons’ grip, but she is determined to do what she needs to do, even if it means losing her life in the process.
