FORTUNE’S VALENTINE BRIDE (4) by Marie Ferrarella: Blake Fortune decides to make good on a promise he made to himself after a brush with death: to go get the woman who got away. He enlists the help of his assistant Katie Wallace, who has harbored a lifelong crush on Blake and has been wishing for him to see her as more than his sister’s best friend. After a few missteps, Blake realizes that Katie is actually the girl he truly wants. A solid story centered around a sassy heroine and a clueless hero makes the familiar premise delightful.
