by Shelley Shepard Gray

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Book three of Gray’s wonderful Secrets of Crittenden County series answers questions from the first two books. Old characters are reintroduced and new ones appear — all of them written well and really thought out. Readers will need to put their detective caps on to figure out this whodunit.

Detective Luke Reynolds believes he knows who killed Perry Borntrager by pushing him into a well. Now he needs to prove it, but is well aware it will tear this tight-knit community apart forever. At the top of the suspect list are Lydia Plank, Perry’s girlfriend, and Walker Anderson, his best friend. Will Luke get his suspect, or is he looking at the wrong person?
