Aski vacation is just what search-and-rescue expert Logan White needs to decompress, but meeting Lily Harmon,
the resort manager, quickly changes that. Lily would rather work ski patrol than sit behind a desk, and Logan's happy to lend a hand rescuing unlucky fellow guests, since it gives him a chance to get closer to her. Logan wants more than a few hot nights, but love equals constraint to Lily—until she gets a taste of what he's really offering. Jill Shalvis' Free Fall (4) beautifully combines well-rounded, strongly motivated characters with an attractive setting and a hint of suspense.
