RT Rating

This romantic and haunting tale of two people reunited by fate is a wonderful read. Beck’s characters are genuine, both flawed and warm, and the story is compelling as fate draws these two souls back together for a second chance at love.

When Elisa Haley and Liam Barton meet again, she is determined to pretend their past does not exist. Liam wants to rekindle the spark. While he is happy living in the small town where Elisa grew up, she is ready to run as fast she can to the bright lights of the big city. Before she goes, she and Liam discover each other as adults and passion flares between them. But Elisa has a secret that threatens to destroy their relationship. Can they let go of their past and reach for the future? (SAMHAIN, Sep., 136 pp., $4.50)
