A GENTLEMAN NEVER TELLS
by Juliana Gray

Genre: Historical Romance, Continental Locales
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1890s Italy

RT Rating

Gray follows the innovative A Lady Never Lies with a somewhat more standard romance — still as enchanting due to her clear prose, the marvelous Tuscan setting and the appealing characters. Though some may find the heroine’s choices disturbing, Gray motivates her characters well and, by interweaving three love stories into each novel, readers eagerly await the next story. Gray’s talent for storytelling and characterization will make her a fan favorite.

Elizabeth, Lady Somerton, takes her young son and flees her abusive husband, accompanying her friends to Italy for an intellectual holiday. She never expects to be sharing a castle with a man she once adored. Lord Roland Penhallow is stunned to see the woman he loved and lost six years ago. Sparks burst into flames quickly, and Roland and Lilibet seize a stolen moment to finally become lovers. When the emotional stakes rise even higher, Lilibet fears her husband’s reaction and worries about the repercussions for Roland. Their love is tested, but it is worth every risk to find happiness.
