Book Review

GHOST HOUSE
by Alexandra Adornetto

Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal

RT Rating

Adornetto’s first Ghost Saga title is a winner, pairing a haunting ghost tale with a dreary and suitable location. Her heroine is strong, colorful and very entertaining. Readers will love this introduction and eagerly anticipate the next offering.

Trying to cope with the sudden death of her mother, Chloe Kennedy doesn’t want to deal with the return of the ghosts who visited her as a child. But now she’s vulnerable — and at her grandmother’s English manor, there is an abundance of ghosts. One in particular is cute and intriguing: Alexander Reade. Unfortunately, their mutual interest places Chloe in the path of a sinister ghost — one after her fledgling powers. (HARLEQUIN TEEN, Sep., 320 pp., $17.99, ISBN: 9780373211302, HC, 14 & Up)
