GIFTS GONE ASTRAY
by Linda Banche

Genre: Regency Period, Historical Romance, E-book, England

RT Rating

A sweetly written historical romance. The story is about two lonely people trying to fit into Regency England’s strict societal structure, but not finding a place they feel comfortable until they meet each other.

Tutor Stephen Fairfax never thought he would have a chance with young widow Anne Copely. While she is also an educator, Anne is the niece of Stephen’s employer. But the longer he is around the intelligent woman, the more Stephen is fascinated by Anne. He uses every excuse to seek her out and is excited when she reciprocates his feelings by giving him a book as a gift. However, Stephen is shocked when he realizes instead of an educational treatise he was expecting, the book is filled with erotic prints which leaves him wondering what sort of “studying” the widow has in mind.
