GINGHAM BRIDE (4) by Jillian Hart: Angel County, Montana Territory, 1883. Fiona O'Rourke works hard on her parents' farm, but they always find something she's done wrong. Ian McPherson shows up to honor a pact his grandparents made with Fiona's parents when they were children -- marry her and work the farm. When he learns that they're as poor as his family, he wants no part of this arrangement. He does want to get Fiona away from this, but when she learns he's only interested in marrying her because of the agreement, she backs out. Can these two people find their way to a happy future with each other? Hart's tender love story has strong characters who stay true to themselves and what they believe is the right thing to do.
