Gino Farnese has been traveling to forget his unrequited love for his brother's wife. In England, having been mugged, he's asleep on a park bench when he's whacked with a ball by Laura and her daughter Nikki. Laura thinks the wealthy young man indigent, and taking a cue from her young daughter, who adores Gino, she offers him a room in her boarding house. After moving in, Gino takes a warehouse job and discovers new love as his heart mends. The follow-up to Rinaldo's Inherited Bride, Gino's Arranged Bride (3) features the more whimsical and more endearing of the two Farnese brothers. Humor also is a highlight of Lucy Gordon's weepy—though somewhat farfetched—plot.
