This lovely story kicks the action off right away, and is sure to leave readers begging for more. Black has created a paranormal romance reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet. Fun and suspenseful!
Dana Hathaway knows she’s part fae, but the only reason she sets out for Avalon, set between the Faerie and mortal world, is to get away from her mother’s alcoholism. She’s unprepared for the three-way battle for her allegiance that occurs soon after arriving, leaving her unsure of who to trust. Falling for the bad boys isn’t exactly helping matters — not to mention those out for her very life. (St. MARTIN'S GRIFFIN, Jun., 320 pp., $9.99, ISBN: 9780312575939, PB, 12 & Up)
