This book should be up any paranormal romance reader’s alley, as the story and the characters are interesting. The concept of an addicted vampire and a solution to that addiction are also intriguing. Unfortunately, the story feels rushed and incompletely edited. Dane tends to start sentences with conjunctions and gets creative in the development of contractions, and some of her dialogue is incredibly familiar. Coupled with the standard vampire tropes and sexual tension clichés, this is a toe in tepid water for genre fans.

Rowan Summerwaite is a hunter with an extra punch. A vessel of the goddess Brigid and raised by the Prime vampire, her foster father Theo, Rowan knows vampires and their weaknesses. Two things turn her world around: The new scion of Las Vegas, Clive, has a way of turning her on; and a vampire serial killer who is preying on women in Las Vegas is pissing her off.
