Kathleen Valentine is the Princess of Pleasure—the author of how-to books describing her philosophy of sensual awareness. Her agent talks her into doing
a book tour, but it's a joint tour with Dr. Daniel McAlister, Dr. Moderate. Not only does Daniel, who helps his clients eliminate immoderation in their lives, stand for everything she opposes, he's also the one who broke her heart 10 years ago and struck a blow to her self-confidence. Daniel knows Kathleen as the woman who believes that anything worth doing
is worth overdoing. They agree to have another go at a relationship, then Kathleen learns that Daniel has used their affair in his book. Going to Extremes (4.5) by Dawn Atkins is a funny, sexy book with wonderful characters. Kathleen and Daniel are both engaging and prove that opposites do attract.
