GOLD RUSH GROOM
by Jenna Kernan

Genre: Historical Romance, America
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1897 Alaska

RT Rating

Kernan does a great job of mixing action, suspense, romance and the exciting details of the Alaskan gold rush. She’s created two wonderful characters who readers will root for.

Lily Shanahan is eager to join the gold rush but she needs a partner. When all the miners turn her down, she settles for a clueless dandy with more brains than common sense. Jack Snow is out to restore his family’s fortune and their place in society. If it means taking on a hellion as a cohort so be it. Soon Lily is in awe of Jack’s strength and fortitude, and Jack is entranced by Lily’s bravery and spunk. Passion heats up between them, but there is no future for the lovers because to have each other they’d have to forego the dreams they’ve fought and struggled so hard for.
