The Chase family has finally grown up; they are not as dysfunctional as in the past. Carter, Michael and Leigh seem to be living in harmony, leaving Haley to find peace in this entertaining tale.
Carter and Michael are taking charge of their lives, trying to renew old relationships. Carter wants Avery back and Michael wants to reunite with Kimberly. Coming from a family of Democrats, Leigh falls for a Republican senator and struggles with her trust issues. Haley is in a marriage of convenience; her new husband needs to be in a committed relationship to obtain his inheritance.
