Book Review

A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND
by ReShonda Tate Billingsley

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural
Sensuality: MILD

RT Rating

Based on the title, I expected to read about a woman who has been down on her luck and finally found a good man that she can hold on to. That is not the case. The storyline is full of scandal, secrets and all the juicy stuff that keeps you on the edge of your seat. But the title is misleading and there is a lack of passion between the heroine and her love interest.

Once an investigative reporter, Ava Cole has had to join the seedy world of tabloids. Her first big assignment is to attend a pop star’s wedding and discover the dirt that the celebrity is hiding. Assisted by photographer Clifton Edwards, Ava’s interviews unravel more secrets than she’s prepared for and the truth puts her and those she cares about in danger. (GALLERY, Apr., 272 pp., $15.00)
