Closing the bookstore inherited from her aunt is breaking Gracie Dawson's heart, but hooking up with her friend Gilbert at their high school reunion cheers her up. Until she finds out that the man she just spent the night with isn't Gilbert—he's Zach Maddox, a cop hunting Gilbert for fraud. Gracie can't believe it, but events convince her. Resisting Zach isn't any easier, and after a while, Gracie's not sure she wants to any more! Enhanced by a light sprinkling of suspense, Kristin Gabriel's Good Night, Gracie (3) is still basically a comedy—and a little uneven. But Gracie's a charmer, and so's Zach.
