THE GOOD PROVIDER
THE GOOD PROVIDER (4) by Debra Salonen: In the midst of an ugly divorce and fearful of her soon-to-be-ex-husband Bruce, Daria Fontina, mother of two girls, gets help from her grandfather’s friend. Though William is a Hollywood agent, he has some unusual contacts and helps Daria dig up enough dirt on Bruce to keep her safe until her divorce is settled. At the same time, Daria and William develop a mutual attraction, and Daria helps him come to grips with his family issues. The Good Provider combines well-drawn characters with an interesting plot. The addition of William’s terminally ill father and parents who’ve never lived together add an additional layer of depth to an already compelling read.
