Jamie Williams' fiance has left her at the altar. With a cryptic message on his answering machine saying he's sorry, Shawn Sinclair leaves Jamie wondering if she truly knew him. Taking a chance, she travels to the island off the coast of Washington, where Shawn said he grew up. But instead of finding him, she encounters Eric, Shawn's brother. Eric has his own problems, and taking care of Shawn's woman isn't something he wants to take on. Too bad Jamie haunts him and won't leave him alone. Perhaps he and his daughter, Kaitlin, need Jamie as much as she needs them. The Goodbye Groom (4) by Ellen James is a wonderfully touching romance. Eric and Jamie are believable characters and their romance is just that -- romantic.
