A Top Pick in hardcover, GRAVITY is Tess Gerritsen's most electrifying thriller to date. The tension and terror are nonstop in this utterly transfixing tale.

Dr. Emma Watson has trained and waited a long time for her turn in space. She and her team are scheduled to be the next crew to work in the new international space station. The only dark spot on Emma's horizon is the dissolution of her marriage to Dr. Jack McCallum. Jack and Emma had both worked for NASA until a minor medical condition grounded Jack.

When an accident on Earth forces home the doctor currently on the space station, Emma is sent to replace him. But she couldn't have arrived at a worse time. Something terrifying is about to be unleashed inside of that space station.

What should have been a simple experiment with a single-cell oceanic life form has mutated into something completely different, an organisim that takes on pieces of DNA from whatever it infects.

Back at NASA, Jack must race time (and the unknown organism itself) to find the answers to save the stranded Emma and the rest of her crew.
