GRAYSON (4.5) by Delores Fossen: “I need you to get me pregnant … today.” And then the house blew up. As an opener, Fossen couldn’t have done it better, and she doesn’t let up on the action, the humor or the pitch-perfect mystery. Photographer Eve Warren has only one person to turn to when her doctor gives her a “now or never” ultimatum: Grayson Ryland, her childhood friend and teenage lover. Even though Grayson doesn’t want to volunteer for daddy duty, keeping Eve alive is turning into a full-time job and the sparks between them have always blazed hotter than a forest fire. While the pair wades through clues leading to a most dysfunctional society family, they must also deal with the past and an uncertain future.
