But Raina and Slade soon learn it’s no ordinary pack they’re after. The wolves they seek are actually shifters — transformed from Raina’s own community — and she’s meant to be the leader’s mate. And that’s just the first surprise; many more follow. This is an original and well-written story with a fascinating mythology and wonderfully complex characters.
