Kauffman continues her Bachelors of Blueberry Cove series with an enchanting story. Witty dialogue, wonderful Maine scenery and a hero with swoon-worthy Irish brogue make it a great read. There’s no fluff here; Kauffman has constructed well-developed characters and set the stage nicely for the next installment.

Grace Maddox has just purchased a boathouse that belonged to Brodie Monaghan — except he had no idea it was being sold. Brodie knows it’s not Grace’s fault that his family’s legacy is being threatened, but that doesn’t mean he has to accept the idea of her future plans for his harbor. Grace is determined not to let Brodie use his Irish charm to distract her from her chosen path. But can she really resist his dimpled smile and his accent? (KENSINGTON, May, 368 pp., $14.00)
