HALF MOON HILL
by Toni Blake

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

You know you can expect two things from a Destiny, Ohio, story: that it’ll be heartfelt and sexy hot. Half Moon Hill is no exception. The relationships that began with the first few books in the series are revisited and expanded throughout, so it may be a good idea to be familiar with the families of Destiny. Each intimate scene between Anna and Duke opens them up to more vulnerability, especially Duke, as the layers of his past are uncovered. This is a solid story with wonderful characters who will touch your heart.

Leaving her troubled past behind, Anna Romo sets her sights on fixing up a charming but battered Victorian house, hoping to make it a B&B. Ex-biker gang member Duke Dawson is just looking to find his way in Destiny when an accident scars his body and his soul. When Anna stumbles across him living in a meager cabin in the woods on her property, they come to an understanding. She’ll keep his secret that he’s in town and living as a hermit, and he’ll help her do the heavy lifting around the house. Working together on the renovations brings Anna and Duke closer together each day. Then war hero Jeremy Sheridan returns to town, and decides he might like to show Anna a good time. Suddenly, she is torn between the good-looking and charming Jeremy and the intriguing Duke. (AVON, May, 384 pp., $5.99)
