Book Review

HAMMER OF ANGELS
by G.T. Almasi

Genre: Science Fiction, General Science Fiction

RT Rating

Hammer of Angels is so explosive, you’ll be lucky to find a moment to catch your breath! Almasi has successfully blended dystopia with an alternate reality, thrown in some crazy bionic and medical thrills and a dash of romance and attraction to create a very fun and exhilarating read. The previous book, Blades of Winter, set up the series well enough but readers will likely find themselves loving Scarlet even more in this action-packed sequel, as they root for her and Darwin. Those in the mood for espionage and intrigue — and who are willing to keep a scorecard of all the warring countries — will definitely revel in the chaos, intense plot and abundance of action.

Alix Nico (aka Scarlet) has been sent to Greater Germany to sow the seeds of anarchy and to help start a revolution. Of course things never go as planned, and Scarlet seems to be a magnet for chaos and trouble, not to mention that she also happens to be incredibly attracted to Darwin, her new partner -— and now she’s grappling with steam and sizzle in the middle of a war.
