When Justice Dillard and Anthony Williams meet, the sparks are undeniable. Unfortunately, the 911 emergency operator has a rule against dating cops.

Settling on friendship, the two find they have much in common. But an attraction as powerful as theirs won't lay dormant for long. Anthony isn't one to settle for anything less than total devotion, despite his career and his playboy past. But Justice's obsessive former fiancé may threaten the fledgling relationship.

Harris has written a thoroughly enjoyable read. Justice's sassy personality makes the story all the more entertaining, and her interaction with Anthony often results in humorous banter. (Oct., 190 pp., $9.95)
