Celtic fans will enjoy this trip into the Irish mists, which has plenty of legends and mystical visions. While the ghosts, evil books and inherited capabilities are pretty standard, the way Quinn weaves them together is clever.

Foster child Danni has made
a life for herself in the antiques business, but she's about to be pulled into a whole different past when the arrival of Sean awakens her "sight." He tells her about her family on the Irish island of Ballyfionuir, where ghosts, visions and curses are as common as grass. She is given a ticket to come home to Ireland to reclaim her past.

When she gets there, everything is just off enough to make her begin to truly wonder who and what she is. Danni is growing attached to Sean, but to keep him she must figure out how to rewrite her family history so that she stays in Ireland -- and Sean stays alive.
