Annie Potter inherits a gas station and apparently Tom Anderson, who runs it, as well. Hoping its Gods will, she decides to turn it into a hotel, cafi and antique shop and use Toms talent for restoring furniture. But when Annie loses her job as a creative consultant for a Chicago firm, she spends more time in Tigerton with Tom and a beautiful relationship blossoms. THE HAVEN OF REST (4.5), by Andrea Boeshaar, is a delight with just the right pacing and conflict.
